The NAIA IPT 3 was insinuated by Filipinos to serve at least 13 million passengers per year, enabling the NAIA to cope with the increasing number of passenger to and from the Philippines.
It was designed and built with intensive architectural and structural assessment by a team of Filipinos and international experts, inspired by our very own Filipino culture in which COLORSTEEL contributed a vital part in its construction by supplying its steel decking (for flooring).
Marking also as Colorsteel’s breakthrough in the roofing industry, the NAIA project contributed well to the company’s sales as the supply and installation of steel deck amounted to almost 25 million Php, the company’s all-time second highest project in terms of Net Value. The terminal’s construction initialized on the last quarter of 2000 and completely undertaken on the last quarter of 2002 including additional structures putted up.
With the terminal’s 33,000 peaks-day passenger capacity and 1.1 kilometer terminal span, Colorsteel’s Engineering and Installation workforce established that Filipino Engineers and Construction workers can accomplish and guaranty world-class infrastructures adhering the company’s mission to provide quality and affordable roofing and steel decking for the Filipino people.
