Colorsteel was founded as a trading company of prepainted longspan steel roofing and roof engineering services.

January 1995
Started commercial operations with its first home located in Makati City. |
|

19 June 1995
Established the first sales branch in San Fernando, Pampanga. |
|

|
| |
March 1996
Entered into a joint venture with a group of Filipino-Chinese businessmen and founded Philcolors SteelForming Corporation. |

| |
1997-1998
Asian economic crisis heavily affected the construction industry. Exceptional growth of the company slowed down. |

| |
1999
Relief and recovery period for the construction industry. Colorsteel pursued the establishment of a sales branch in San Fernando, La Union to build a reputable presence in the Northern Luzon areas. |

March 2000
Established its rollforming plant in San Fernando, Pampanga. |

| |
2000-2002
Additional sales branches in the cities of Dagupan, Cabanatuan and Lipa were established. |

2003-2004
Tarlac, Bulacan and Santiago, Isabela offices were also set-up. |

10 December 2004
Colorsteel inaugurated the “Colorsteel Home” - its modern and bigger rollforming facility and administration office in San Fernando, Pampanga.

2005-2006
Regional Sales Engineers were assigned in Iloilo, Davao and Cagayan de Oro areas. Laoag sales branch was put-up.
Mini-warehouses were set-up in Iloilo and Lipa branches. |

The Future |

Bigger challenges lie ahead in the steel roofing industry and Colorsteel has a deeper challenge of establishing itself as “The Steel Institution” within the next ten years. |
